Our Ethical Footprint
At Heaven Australia, we are committed to continuous improvement through innovative and efficient processes that reduce waste and environmental impact. We have implemented enhanced procedures, advanced techniques, and waste management policies across our operations to minimise wastage at every stage.
manufacturing
Heaven Australia is produced using 100% recycled fabric. Certified by the Control Union's Global Recycle Standard, our recycled Lycra is created from up-cycling plastic bottles, combined with recovered fibre from nylon garments. These products are broken down to their fibre form before being decolourised, purified and then re-spun into the fabric for our swimwear.
We are committed to creating a more sustainable and healthy world and we hope this will inspire other businesses to do their part in driving effective change. Heaven Australia also proudly owns and operates our own manufacturing facility, as this approach allows us to have more control over working conditions and production quality.
Engineering high quality products from sourcing through to delivery is our highest priority. We are constantly striving to implement our philosophy into all aspects of the business because we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint, providing high quality pieces to our customers and empowering women all around the world.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
A label for textiles tested for harmful substances, setting the benchmark for textile safety, from yarn to finished product. Every item bearing the STANDARD 100 label is certified as having passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances.
SCS Global Service
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content, labeling, and distribution of all products made with a minimum of 20% recycled material.
MIPAN® regen
The world’s first certified reclaimed nylon filament yarn made for textile usage. Using 100% reclaimed waste, the uptake rate of petroleum resources is reduced significantly. We are speaking of 95% decrease in the use of fossil oils compared to the production of conventional nylon.
